The answer is simple: Your replicated company web page is not designed to bring people into your business, it is designed to feature the company and it’s products. How can you do better? Use a web site that is designed for one single purpose: to motivate your visitors to give you their contact information. Build a site that features you, and your expertise, a valuable benefit you are offering. These two things need to be in sync: Your offer and your visitors.
So, you need to know your product: what benefits does it offer. And you need to know your audience: what are their needs and desires, what problems do they try to solve.
You match up the two by finding a key benefit and a target group that is willing spend money on getting that benefit. Once you have found a good match, building your web page is simple: In a few sentences, offer free information about the issue in exchange for contact information. That’s all. Collect their information and follow up. This works for finding both customers and new business builders.
