Forever Living Marketing and Compensation Plan

The company is selling its products through its own web site, and through independent distributors. According to the Forever Living marketing plan, you can join for free as a distributor or with a business-in-a-box package for $372 as an assistant supervisor. You will achieve higher leadership ranks of Supervisor and Manager based on sales volume in your organization.

Retail Profits

As a distributor, you are earning only on personal sales: 15% of the retail price as retail profit. There is no investment or minimum purchase requirement to be a distributor. Let's look at an example: Assume you are making a personal purchase of $100 retail every month.

Your distributor price, subtracting 15% retail profit, is $100 -$15 = $85.
To cover the cost of your product, you need 6 repeat retail customers at the same purchase level, to give you a total retail profit of 6*$15 = $90.

As assistant supervisor and above, your retail profit is 30% of the retail price for retail customers, and 15% of the retail price for your personal distributors.

Group Volume Bonuses

You can also earn bonuses on sales in your group: 8% to 18% on personal sales and sales of personally sponsored new distributors and 2 to 13% of retails sales in your group. To qualify for volume bonuses in any month, your group must generate at least 4 case credits of sales that month. A case credit is the FLP international sales unit, and corresponds to about $188.

As an assistant supervisor, your personal cost for $100 retail is $100 -$30 = $70, and your profit for each retail sale at that level is $30. You need 3 retail customers to generate $90 income, leaving you with a net $20 after paying for your own product.

In addition, there are incentive bonuses and a profit sharing plan. All bonuses are calculated on the retail prices, not wholesale prices. Once you have attained a rank, you can never loose it, there are no demotions. Very successful distributors in your group will never be placed above you, but rather move you up to the next rank.

Forever Living Training

The company offers training through the Forever Living Online Training web site and special training events. The online training videos and materials cover basic product knowledge, business skills, product marketing through personal contacts, prospecting and recruiting. For distributors with Forever Living, training in advanced marketing strategies is highly recommended, to supplement the company training.

To build a profitable Forever Living home businesss, and make full use of the retail profits and volume bonuses, you need to build sales volume and advance to assistant supervisor quickly. The company recommends to build a retail customer base of 20, and add one new distributor per month.
