Avon Compensation Plan

The official Avon compensation plan is not publicly available on the web. The following information is from various third party sources.

To build an Avon business, you can join as an Independent Sales Representative for $10, which gives you a kit with some business basics and 10 free brochures for the first two campaigns (2 weeks each). The product selections are offered through brochures for each 2 week campaign, or online. Your job is to sell the products directly, or through the web as an e-representative.

In the Avon compensation plan, your main income is through retail commissions on personal sales. The commission rate increases from 20% below $145 volume to 50% at $1550 volume and above.

The second income stream is from bonuses on the sales of personally sponsored recruits. This is called the leadership opportunity. To earn these bonuses, you must meet a number of requirements, as shown below. The bonus for each individual order depends on the order size.

Avon is offering a series of training classes to new reps that are covering business essentials, product knowledge, recruiting (the PATD program: Prospect, Appoint, Train Develop) and warm market approaches for marketing. It is importan that you add effective product marketing to your Avon training program.
